Welcome to CIH's UK Election 2010 site
A general election is on the horizon. All of the political parties are busy developing and refining their housing and community policy priorities. It is a key time for CIH and its members to understand and help shape possible future housing policies. We have developed this unique site to keep you up to speed with all the latest, policy developments and party positions, relevant to the sector. To make life easier, we provide summaries of key documents as well as useful commentary and analysis. The site also provides valuable opportunity for debate and discussion on key issues as they emerge. Whichever party forms a new government, the election will usher in a new dawn for housing and communities. Please log on and add your voice to the key issues that matter and help CIH to influence and shape future housing policy. This site will be continually updated as relevant information emerges. This site is part of CIH's Shaping Housing Futures work in which CIH and the housing community considers and discusses housing and communities issues and agendas today for better outcomes tomorrow. Watch this space for post-election developments and discussions. How to use this site It is easy to use this site. On the left hand side of the screen you will see a login box. Click create new account and follow the instructions. Please make a note of your username and password for future reference. We recognise that some of you may want to comment freely and frankly. In order that you may do so without prejudice to your professional capacity, or that of your employer, we recommend that when you create your account, you create a fictitious name for yourself in the first name and surname fields. This is what will appear in any forum posts you create or reply to. Your email address is not visible to other participants. If you have any problems creating an account or logging in, please e-mail moodle.admin@cih.org stating which site you are trying to access in the subject line.
